Hydraulic fixtures are fixtures that use hydraulic components instead of mechanical parts to achieve automatic positioning, support, and clamping of workpieces through hydraulic control. It has the advantages of high clamping force, reliable clamping, stable operation, and convenient use. Currently, it is widely used in CNC machine tools, machining centers, automated production lines, and other scenarios. By assembling the selected hydraulic components and the designed mechanical parts together, the required fixtures can be obtained.
The design of hydraulic fixtures is a continuous process of design improvement. This time, we will share two patented solutions, namely the detailed design and interpretation of the three-point centering hydraulic fixture for the flywheel housing and the gear cover hydraulic fixture, to enable more customers to understand the knowledge of hydraulic fixtures.
1、 Three point centering hydraulic fixture for flywheel housing
Regarding the issue:
At present, the centering structure of the 10 sequence machining fixture for the flywheel shell adopts two fixed guide wheels and one spring floating guide wheel. Due to the different casting batches of the workpiece blank, the size deviation of the workpiece blank is large, resulting in a significant deviation between the hole center at the workpiece positioning and the fixture positioning center. The fixture does not play a centering role, resulting in uneven hole wall thickness in the subsequent processing of the workpiece, excessive deviation, and the occurrence of scrap.
Technical solution:
In order to overcome the above defects, a three-point centering hydraulic fixture for the flywheel housing is designed. Push three evenly distributed guide rods by pushing the cylinder to center the positioning head on the guide rods.
Technical features:
The flywheel housing three-point centering hydraulic fixture sequentially includes: fixture base plate, three-point centering component, sequence valve a, sequence valve b, support column, support cylinder, angle cylinder, and angular positioning component. The three-point centering component is set on the fixture base plate, and the positioning head is positioned on the same arc by adjusting the adjusting pad. Three evenly distributed guide rods are pushed by the push cylinder to center the positioning head on the guide rod. The sequence valve, support column, support cylinder, and angle cylinder are installed on the fixture base plate. The angular positioning component is set on the fixture base plate, and the pulling cylinder is connected to the angular positioning block on the vertical plate.
Usage process:
Place the workpiece on the support column in the angular positioning direction, with the hydraulic station solenoid valve in the middle position for unloading. Insert the angular positioning block into the slot on the workpiece for positioning. After oil is introduced into the oil circuit, the push cylinder in the three-point centering component pushes the push rod, causing the positioning head on the guide rod to move and contact the workpiece positioning surface to achieve three-point centering positioning. Afterwards, the supporting cylinder is raised and fixed through a sequence valve. Then, through the sequence valve, the corner cylinder presses the workpiece tightly. After the workpiece is processed, the oil circuit is depressurized. At this time, the pulling cylinder in the angular positioning component pulls the angular positioning block back and away from the workpiece. The push cylinder in the three-point centering component returns, the push rod returns under the action of the spring, and the guide rod drives the positioning head to return under the action of the spring, causing the positioning head to detach from the workpiece.
2、 Gear cover hydraulic fixture
Regarding the issue:
At present, the machining of the gear cover involves locating large holes on the workpiece blank, machining the upper plane and holes, and then selecting the processed two holes for locating and drilling holes on the blank. This requires two sets of fixtures to complete, and the cost of the process is relatively high.
Technical solution:
Design a gear cover hydraulic fixture that uses the workpiece blank large hole as the positioning hole, and process the blank large hole in this sequence. The positioning of the workpiece blank large hole is composed of a positioning plate component and a pulling cylinder. After the workpiece is positioned and clamped, the pulling cylinder pulls the positioning plate away from the positioning hole, and at the same time, the auxiliary support cylinder lifts and clamps it.

The cylinder is set inside the positioning plate component; Auxiliary support cylinder, angle cylinder, positioning plate component, support column, lever cylinder, sequence valve, support cylinder, coarse positioning rod, pin and elastic positioning pin component are set on the fixture plate; The sequence valve controls the pulling and clamping of the cylinder, lever cylinder, and auxiliary support cylinder; Insert the control fixture board to the position of the workbench.
